Credit Smart Lending Certification

The ACCOSCA Academy is pleased to introduce the Credit Smart Lending Certification Programme, a specialized professional development initiative designed to enhance the quality, efficiency and sustainability of lending operations across Africa’s SACCO and credit union movement. The programme equips participants with practical skills in assessing borrower creditworthiness, analysing financial statements, structuring appropriate loan products, identifying early warning signs of default, managing non-performing loans and strengthening loan recovery strategies. Participants will gain actionable insights into improving loan approval processes, reducing portfolio-at-risk, enhancing credit monitoring systems and balancing loan portfolio growth with prudent risk management.
