Financial Inclusion for Kenya and Tanzania (FIKT)

ACCOSCA and Visa have partnered to roll out a 1-year project on financial inclusion for women, youth, and men in Kenya and Tanzania titled “Financial Inclusion in Kenya and Tanzania (FIKT)”. The project commenced on 1st January 2024 and will run through 31st December 2024 with a possible extension of 12 months.

Through this initiative, we seek to create an inclusive and enabling environment that empowers women and youth to overcome financial barriers and achieve their economic aspirations.

Both Tanzania and Kenya recognize the importance of financial education for women and youth. The program provides an opportunity to revamp the efforts to increase financial inclusion, promote entrepreneurship, and provide access to affordable financial services and education to create a more economically empowered future for youth and women in these countries.
