Project Overview

ACCOSCA and the Irish League of Credit Unions International Development Foundation (ILCU Foundation) have partnered through this project.   

The overall aim of the project is institutional strengthening and capacity building of both ACCOSCA and the Foundation, so both organizations can better support the development of strong, secure and sustainable SACCO/CU movements in Africa.

Project Objectives

Institutional strengthening and capacity building of ACCOSCA and the Foundation, which will strengthen and formalize the working relationship between ACCOSCA and the Foundation, with a focus on the following measures:

  • Institutional strengthening and capacity building of ACCOSCA staff
  • Support the ACCOSCA Academy and curriculum development
  • Strengthen Foundation’s capacity to support its partner countries on regulatory issues
  • Strengthened relationship between ACCOSCA and the Foundation
