Brazil Learn and Share Initiative

The African Confederation of Cooperative Savings and Credit Associations (ACCOSCA) in conjunction with Sicredi is pleased to invite you to the 2024 Learn and Share Credit Union Tour to Porto Alegr, Brazil.

While in Brazil, we will be hosted by Sicredi the first financial cooperative initiative in Brazil with more than 7.5 million members, 2.6 thousand branches, and more than 40 thousand employees. This will be a unique opportunity to learn the institution’s strength in building a sustainable outfit that generates economic results while protecting the environment and improving the quality of life of the people it interacts with. The learn and share program comprises visits to various Credit Unions and community outreach programs implemented by Sicredi in collaboration with the credit unions. The main learning areas will include member and stakeholder engagement, community outreach and brand visibility, climate/green finance initiatives, and rural finance.

ACCOSCA believes that this program will allow room for knowledge sharing and interactions aimed at promoting entrepreneurship, inclusive growth, and sustainability, which will culminate in working partnerships that are beneficial to all our members.
