Dublin Learn and Share Initiative

ACCOSCA is mandated to empower people living in Africa through the cooperative business model by ensuring financial inclusion for all. In this regard and in line with our current plan, which focuses on, among other fronts, financial sustainability and inclusive growth of SACCOs, we have created a partnership with ILCUF that will allow members of ACCOSCA and ILCUF to interact and learn best practices from each other.

This learn-and-share program will look at ICT as an investment in managing cooperatives, the idea of integration of Cooperatives, and the Credit Union Regulatory system on Credit Union Mergers or growth. The program is intended to expose Credit union leaders to first-hand technological strategies, perspectives, and experiences relevant to the shared challenges facing the industry. This will enable senior managers, CEOs, and the Board of Directors to adopt best practices, prioritize opportunities for improvement, and enhance performance relative to member expectations. Participants will also have the opportunity to get hands-on experience through immersion visits to selected credit unions in Ireland.

ACCOSCA believes that this program will allow room for knowledge sharing and interactions, which will culminate in working partnerships that will be beneficial to all our members.
