The Regional Forums (RFs) are designed to bring together SACCOs/CUs from member countries from respective regions to engage in thought-provoking discussions around topical issues that are specific and unique to SACCOs/CUs in the regions and come up with innovative means of bridging existing gaps. The RFs reinforce the national and regional SACCO network framework and improve the presence and image of the cooperative business model in Africa.
The RFs are held, on a rotational basis within the respective blocs. Currently, the active membership from each of the three regional blocs is as follows;
Eastern Bloc: Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi, Ethiopia, DR Congo…
Western Bloc: Ghana, Gambia, Liberia, Sierra Leone, Cameroon, Nigeria
Southern Bloc: Eswatini, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Malawi, Namibia, Seychelles, Botswana, South Africa, Lesotho
